Berlin is novel and unconventional, that’s why berlin-re-cycling fits perfectly to this city. Through a creative process, recycled bicycle parts are formed into valuable art objects appealing to both fashion minded Berliners and tourists alike. Innovative, stylish and totally off the wall, these objects have sparked a chain of light that will set Berlin aflame. The trendy design objects are named after famous Berlin streets and are available in a classic, vintage or pop version. berlin-re-cycling is part of the Berlin lifestyle. All berlin-re-cycling objects are designed by the London born artist Stuart N.R. Wolfe.

Each one is individually drafted and custom made in the berlin-re-cycling workshops. The graphics, the logo and the presentation (advertising) subtly illustrate the Berlin connection. Each model can be individually fashioned to the customers wishes in colour or form of the shade. Please feel free to commission your own ideas, that we will be glad to realize for you. Clean lines and clear shapes are a brand mark of the sculptor and designer, now living in Kreuzberg. He received international recognition through his installations in the public sphere. Apart from their practical use, all berlin-re-cycling-design objects must comply with our high esthetic standards.

Together with the variation options Classic, Vintage, Pop, and the care seen to detail, the customer receives an individual design-object that unmistakably belongs to the berlin-re-cycling label.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Origin of the berlin-re-cycling-products
Berlin-re-cycling-products mainly consist of recycled materials. It is due to the creative process involved, that these materials are transformed into esthetically new forms and functions.

Selected objects, like an old bell, or some handlebars reveal their original history and are combined with high quality items, such as cables, LED-light fittings or handmade shades.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Environmentally friendly
Since recycling, reuses existing materials and saves raw materials, it preserves energy and has a higher ecological benefit. Also in respect to the paint work, new components and LED-bulbs, emphasis is placed on valid environmental standards. .

This represents an elementary part of the berlin-re-cycling work ethics. It also harmonizes well with the original value of a bicycle as a means of transport and is most appropriate for a progressive capital city like Berlin.

The idea for this unusual and unconventional art project was born in Berlin Kreuzberg.

The objects are made in various Berlin workshops and each new model is given a famous Berlin street name. Together with the graphics and the logo, this is the Berlin connection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Production line
Berlin-re-cycling has its own workshops, in which people who have less chance in the open job market are given special consideration.

This could be the blind or otherwise handicapped people, long term unemployed or those seeking asylum.
